415ozcan peaches in own juice or 4 cups fresh peaches pealed and sliced

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.put peaches in pot add butter, both sugars, pinch salt. Bring to a simmer and simmer for 3-5 min add vanilla and caramel stir and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg stir and remove from heat and set aside to cool.Melt 1 stick of butter in a 9×13 pan in the oven.In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.Take out the pan with the melted butter and pour the batter mixture over it making sure it spreads mostly evenly. DO NOT stir the batter into the butter.Spoon peaches (with the juice) over it. Do not mix. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.Bake for 38-44 minutes.
